About Me

I'm a proud South African living in South Korea and working as an ESL teacher. Since February 2010 I've been living in a rural town called Danyang in the Chungcheongbuk province.  I teach at a three elementary schools and a kindergarten. I'm officially over the 'honeymoon' stage but still madly in love with Korea. It's incredibly beautiful here and everyday is filled with something new or amusing. Korea is so full of character and it would be selfish not to share its' beautiful madness. So here goes... 
The 'only in korea' tab is a catch-up on Korean Culture and weird things that I discovered in the first few months that I was here and hadn't started my blog yet; the 'bla bla blog' is about my daily life here and any other random information I feel like sharing; and the 'food' tab is a description of Korean meals & snacks- this will be updated as I discover them.
